Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
In Acts 1:1-14, Jesus tells His disciples to wait for the promised Holy Spirit instead of charging ahead. Waiting humbles us, breaking our self-sufficiency. Trusting the Holy Spirit brings power to live Spirit-filled lives. Eternal results depend on obedience, surrender, and reliance on God's timing and power.
Be of Good Courage
Biblical courage isn't the absence of fear, but acting despite it. It's grounded in God's promises and presence. Like Ehud, who overcame limitations, we must rely on thanksgiving, covenant promises, and the power of God's Word and Spirit to overcome compromise, complacency, and doubt. Courage flows from encountering God, defining our identity, and relying on His strength.
